Welcome to the world of 2001 as envisioned in 1941. An experimental community built at the beginning of the electric age, Electropolis is characterized by skyscraper-sized Van Der Graaf generator towers and Strickfadden machines, as well as a distinctive modernist architectural style. From above, the city resembles nothing so much as the interior of an old radio or television. Machines as buildings...Electricity as commerce. Set against this backdrop, ELECTROPOLIS is a vintage murder mystery that goes to the heart of the power industry in this brave new world.

ELECTROPOLIS is written and illustrated by DEAN MOTTER (The Prisoner, Mister X, Terminal City). It picks up, one could say, where Mister X and Terminal City both intersect, and left off. ELECTROPOLIS continues his explorations in the unique retro-futuristic genre he created in these books.
